Fouad C. Debbas was born in Beirut, on November 15th 1930, into an old and influential Lebanese family. In 1958, he graduated in engineering from Ecole Centrale in Paris and joined the family in running their lighting business.
Until his sudden death in 2001, he built the world’s largest private collection of postcards and old photographs of Lebanon and the Middle East.

[October 13,2009] Ing. Castaldi Illuminazione, the famous Italian lighting manufacturer, has adopted Coperon software solution, iPartner, for the development of its catalog management platform.

The project includes the implementation of iPartner Data Manager for the management of the fixtures catalog database and the integration online of Coperon parametric search, iPartner Product Expert. Products data entry was also outsourced to Coperon data entry team as part of the agreement.

Timed to coincide with Light + Building 2008 which begins in Frankfurt on April 6th, Flos launched its newly designed website, including an easy to browse e-catalog for all decorative and architectural products in its international product.

Other new design and navigation concepts were implemented to provide FLOS customers with an array of constantly updated company news, project data as well as access to technical documentation when required by specifiers, whether interior designers, architects or lighting designers.

Sonepar Italia outsources its 250,000+ product data entry for electrical technical catalogs to Coperon Technologies

After finalizing its lighting products data entry, the Coperon Data Entry Services team is currently enriching the electrical products database of Sonepar Italia, the Italian branch of the leading distributor of electrical products in the world.

More that 250,000 references will be entered and classified into more that 300 different product category. When done, the database will be made available online using Coperon product search technology and be integrated into the heart of Sonepar's e-business strategy. The complete project will be launched in the second half of 2008.
