CEO and Co-Founder: Ziad Debbas
Ziad is heading Coperon’s strategic development
in e-catalog technology for complex products. Ziad’s experience
as a director in the Debbas Group, a leading Middle Eastern lighting
solution provider, has led him to find innovative ways to solve
the problems and pains associated with searching the right products
for the right application in a vast universe of lighting products.
His first attempt at solving this problem through
technology was recognized by Microsoft in Lebanon who awarded the
project with its “most innovative web solution” award
in 1998. Ziad’s experience in strategic and corporate development
was also gained through his work with International management consulting
group Arthur D. Little. His academic background is business with
a Harvard MBA and a B.Comm in Finance from Concordia University
(Canada).
Worldwide marketing & Co-Founder: Steven Bradley
Steven is currently guiding Coperon's marketing and
sales strategy worldwide. He has been a strategic marketing consultant
to both start-ups and established companies in lighting and related
industries since 2000. He is currently on the Board of Directors
of UK-based, Remote Controlled Lighting, Ltd.
From 1986 - 2000, Steven led the international sales
and marketing efforts at Targetti, a worldwide leader in the lighting
industry. These formative years led to a personal search for more
powerful ways to communicate product and company strengths to the
diverse group of professionals who typically make specification
and buying decisions in the lighting industry.
Steven received his degree in international relations
from Stanford University.
Lighting Logic & Data Structure: Majdi Hajjar
Majdi, with an extraordinarily rich and extensive
lighting experience, guides the development of the lighting logic
and data structure related issues which have been applied in the
iPartner products suite. His involvement has been critically important
to the development of the initial concepts and architecture of all
Coperon products. Majdi’s knowledge is of great value to Coperon
customers. His constant support enhances product development and
ensures that these concepts conform to international recognized
lighting standards.
Majdi has more than 30 years of lighting and electrical
experience throughout Canada, Europe and the Middle East. Besides
his role at Coperon, he is a Vice-President of Debbas Group, a leading
Middle Eastern lighting solution provider, and works as an independent
lighting consultant for several firms.
Majdi is a part-time lecturer of lighting design
at several universities. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering
from the ESIB (Lebanon).
IT Manager: Jean Zovighian
Jean leads the IT development and implementation team at Coperon.
He joined Coperon after spending several years in Europe and the
Arabic Gulf, working for large international IT firms. As a project
director, he was account manager across numerous sectors including
government, banking, petroleum industry, chemical industry, and
distribution.
From his European experience, Jean has acquired the
skill set required to manage IT projects in complex environments
as well as expertise in the specialized field of Business Intelligence.
He managed and contributed to the development, testing and implementation
strategies, the definition of technical architectures and the development
of enterprise models.
Jean received his BS in Computer Science from Beirut
University College, Lebanon. He is trained as an ISO 9000 Lead Auditor
(Lloyds Register Quality Assurance) and has furthered his education
by completing a range of technical courses in project management,
system administration and database design.
R&D, Product Manager: Ali Bannout
Ali is the R&D and iPartner Product Manager at Coperon. He is
responsible for all product research and development to ensure that
all new products are competitive, accurately represented to customers,
and provisioned correctly. His work in Coperon’s core parametric
search & guided browsing technologies has been praised by software
industry opinion leaders.
Ali joined Coperon after a career spanning 20 years
in Europe and, specifically in Italy, working as a senior software
engineer at Fiat Research Center, Iveco, Olivetti and Digital Systems.
Ali was involved in several complex research projects during which
he acquired valuable technical knowledge that he has built upon
while designing and developing Coperon software.
Ali received his Mechanical Engineering degree from
the Polytechnic University of Turin, Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
Projects Implementation & Customer Support
Manager: Chadi Saghbini
Chadi is the human interface between Coperon customers and their
projects. He is responsible for the implementation of all projects
and post-implementation support. Chadi’s role is especially
critical in providing our customers a path to implement their unique
corporate image and culture into the look & feel of their electronic
marketing tools without compromising the power and functionality
of the software itself. His extensive technical knowledge enables
him to implement complex user requirements and integrate them to
iPartner products.
Chadi is one of the original Coperon employees. From
the beginning, Chadi was intimately involved and contributed to
the development of iPartner Product Expert, and specifically in
the development of the back-office engine of iPartner that provides
manufacturers with a powerful and flexible user interface to manage
the thousands of products that are part of their product catalogs.
Chadi received his BS in Computer Science from Notre-Dame
University, Lebanon.
